I photographed these portraits of a friend in studio one day in a selection of vintage lingerie from my collection. The images where just for fun but came out quite beautifully and dark. Shot in 2011.

I curated a small group show comprising of about 25 young local artists to show work under the theme “Carnal Carnival” for a 2009 exhibition at Exposure Gallery at the Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town.
Below is a selection of work and some images from the opening night. Its such a long time ago that I sadly no longer have all the artwork and all the participants names which is why they all go uncredited here.
I photographed Johannesburg born Tersha Makwiya in March 2013 for South Africa’s May edition of Playboy.
The shoot took place over one day with a small team (the way I prefer it personally) made up of myself, Sven Kristian who assisted me, Sebastine Pepler on hair and makeup and Tersha our Miss May model.
We shot both with a black Lotus which was on loan for the shoot and inside the rooms of the Banksia Boutique Hotel in Rosebank Cape Town.
Ive added a few behind-the-scenes shots from the shoot as well. It gives a nice all round view of this 6 hour shoot.

FASHION EDITORIAL: Horses & Hay
This short fashion story “Horses & Hay” was shot in Winter 2010. The look and theme was romantic and soft using mostly lace in creams and whites and vintage tones and accessories. The shoot took place on a farm in Paarl, just out of Cape Town.
