The Softer Sex
In 2012 I curated a small group show at Exposure Gallery in the Old Biscuit Mill in Cape Town as part of the 5th Cape Town Month of Photography.
The show comprised of about 30 young and a few established local photographers. Below is the invite for the show followed by a selection of works that were part of the exhibition.

This is Anya Van Der Merwe
I met and photographed architect Anya in May 2012 when I documented her portrait on assignment for Destiny magazine, South Africa. Anya is at the head of VDMMA (Van Der Merwe Miszewski Architects) based in Cape Town.
When I met with her in her home office for this personal profile shoot she was working on the extension of the pre-existing Cape Town International Convention Centre.
This is Elana Afrika
I met and worked with Elena in February 2012 for this Destiny magazine feature on her return to the ‘Mother City’ (Cape Town). She is a South African radio and TV personality as well as a producer. The story covered a night out in Cape Town with close friends. Article below.

This is Thembi Thobi
Thembi Thobi is a South African winemaker for Thembi’s Wines (founded 2009) which produces two single varietal whites and two single varietal red wines.
I met and shot Thembi for Destiny magazines Entrepreneur feature in December 2012 at the Spice Route wine cellar in Paarl.
