A Collection of Female Attire

The Collection: Stockings & Socks
#25- #27

(Please note: This is the “archive” of the collection of shoot props (generally lingerie/womens attire somehow) that I have gathered over the last 11 years of my career.
They are catalogued by number, and description for now as well as any other relevant information about their individual histories- how I came to have the items, what shoots they might have been used for, etc.
The style in which I document an item may vary according to the type of garment/object it is).

#25 – Stockings
Pure wool, indigo stay-up stockings with matching lace trim. These goodies were a gift from the friend who is actually modelling them in this shot for me. She bought them while on a road trip to Oudtshoorn, South Africa. Typical of stay ups, the latex grip which lies on the inside of the lace trim is almost always too tight and squeezes the thigh fat of almost every girl resulting in manipulation via photoshop to return the leg to its normal shape.

Lingerie & stockings by Leah Hawker

#26 – Stockings
Leopard print stockings, size small-medium. I think I bought these at a stocking factory shop in Woodstock about 7 years back. I’ve only shot with them once which was a for a test shoot with Anthea of 20Management. They’re almost totally opaque and have no visible gusset reinforcement which makes them appear like one smooth skin.

#27 –
Stockings
Black, semi-sheer stockings with design and bow trims. Size medium-large. I bought these beauties in Marks ‘n Sparks in Paris in 2013 while shopping for lingerie with a client and friend. They have a semi-opaque design which makes out a thong, suspender belt and thigh-high stockings, resplendent with bow embellishments at the point where the suspender clips would attache to the stockings.
