This is Yvonne Dyum
I met and photographed Yvonne in August 2017 at the Middelvlei Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. I was on assignment for Destiny magazine who were doing a feature on her in their Young Business Minds section.
There had been a spate of inspiring online celebrations of young graduates succeeding despite economic and social woes that threatened to derail their success. Destiny interviewed four women (Yvonne being one of them) who were pursuing ambitious careers despite less than favourable starts.
Yvonne had recently graduated from Stellenbosch University with her medical degree and is now serving her two-year internship at the Uitenhage Provincial Hospital.

I met and photographed charismatic Abigail in August 2017. I was on assignment for Destiny Magazine and they were doing a feature on Abi, founder and creative director at 4 Roomed iKasi Culture (a restaurant and a food truck based in Khayelitsha, Cape Town). Abi was also in the top 6 on season three of Master Chef South Africa.
The magazine covered profiles of Abigail as well as a series of interiors and food shots for use in the multipage article. Below are a selection of the shots from 4 Roomed iKasi.

I met and documented model and business entrepreneur Imaan MacQueena for Destiny magazine. We shot her profile in one of Long St.’s new and happening bars on a Saturday morning in September 2014.
