I bought this magazine in an antique shop in Swakopmund, Nambia a few years back. It was produced in New York in 1958 (february, Vol. III, No.2) with Burton Wohl as its executive Editor and was a bimonthly publication and boasts 4 girlie pictorials under its content section in this issue.
Below is a documentation of the girlie pictorials and images from inside the magazine.
Below and above actress and nudey model Marian Stafford was born 1933 in Houston, Texas and was Playboy mags Miss March 1956, her centre fold (shot by Ruth Sondak) was the first to consist of three pages. She seems to have posed for a number of mens magazines of the time according to Wikipedia and also became a bit of a TV personality during that time.
The following four page article “Le Sexy” Renee Renoir starts with:
Born in a paris slum, destined to be a “rat”, stripper Rita Renoir parlayed a sexy figure and fierce ambition into $1,000- plus a week.
Tousled and rumpled, Rita awakens slowly, fortifies herself with breakfast and a cigarette before starting her day.
…and Escapade visits a new girl in town…
I love the re-coloured eyes in this shot above of San Francisco born Donna Noble, the article says about her:
In short, she is more at home in blue jeans than ball gowns, dismayed by caviar but happy with pop corn, and though she might have difficulty selecting the right fork at an elaborate dinner, she can change a set of spark plugs in ten minutes flat
