The Softer Sex
I documented these portraits of Nadine and her family at Noordehoek Beach near Cape Town about a year or so ago. It was the second time I worked with the family and have since gone on to document them in their home town of Hamburg as well as back in Cape Town, each time as their family grows and changes.
Emily and I short a natural light studio series a little while back. Her doggie chose to join in the session. The images came out beautifully soft with the afternoon light coming in from the back of the studio through our curtains.
I met and photographed Kiki in 2016 when she was about 7.5monnths Preggie. She had an absolute obsession with sunflowers and most of her shoot incorporated them.
A maternity shoot I did on location at the forest surrounding Rhodes Memorial and at the Reservoir close by. Romy was 5/6 months pregnant with her twins which she gave birth to in December by emergency c-section.
