# 123 – Stockings
Red hold-up sheer stockings. These have been worked with a number of times. They’ve been hand cut into hold ups.

Sheer white hold-ups. These are not an easy find in Cape Town but come in many of the lingerie sets that Passionfruit.co.za sells locally.

A deep brown pair of hold-ups from the 90’s which have been shredded for a photoshoot.

These are the classic stay-ups that you can find in South Africa. Although they look pretty that latex band they use to keep them up is almost always problematic.

Flesh coloured, wide-fishnet hold-ups. Bought at a Chinese supermarket in Cape Town for photoshoots with private clients.

Deep brown/tan coloured, hold-ups. Bought at Woolworths quite some time ago for photoshoots with private clients.

Black, wide-fishnet hold-ups. Originally a gift from a client, I cut them off into “hold-ups” for photoshoots with private clients.

#122 – “Socklets”
Pale pink lace “socklets” with ankle straps. I think I bought these at a Chinese supermarket in Cape Town, they are a kind of re-interpritation of the ballet shoe.

#115 – Stockings
Knee-high fuchsia pink, striped knee highs. Bought about 10 years ago and used in a few shoots including this exhibition piece in 2007.

Knee-high fuchsia pink and neon yellow wide fish-net stockings. This was originally two pairs but since each has a missing partner they’re now re-paired and look even more fitting.

Bright red, opaque, hold-ups with patterning. A great and unusual pair handed down to me by my aunt.

#111 – Stockings
Bright red stockings. These have been used in many a shoot. At the time when I got them it wasn’t so easy to find multicoloured stockings in SA, that has changed now.

Checker-board design, black stockings. These have a distinctly 90’s feel and originally came from Woolies.

Deep red stay-up stockings in fishnet with lace detail. Gifted to me from a client about 11 years ago.

Beige/nude hold-up vintage stockings. I bought many pairs of these stockings at one stage. They were produced in the 90’s by the looks of the packaging. They’re super pale and fleshy and almost totally nude/invisible against this pair of legs.
