#98 – Gloves
White, medical, latex gloves. Used for many a “medically” themed boudoir/private commissioned shoot like the included image.

Elbow length “opera” gloves in black. Synthetic and with the fingertips cut-open. Bought at a fancy dress shop at some stage for a shoot.

#100 – Gloves
Off-white, lace gloves made from cotton. A beautiful vintage pair of gloves I acquired from the older generation in my family. Unusual in that they’re very much hand-made in off-white cotton thread.

#94 – Gloves
Mustard calf skin (i think) leather, vintage gloves. A hand-me-down from my great aunt who seemed to know I collected such things.

Pale pink lace, finger-less gloves. Gifted to me by a friend for the collection about 10 years ago.

Faux fur mittens (2x pairs). Purchased in Hannover in 2000, on sale which lead me to buy 2 pairs.

Kind of a tiger-print, velvet gloves. Purchased at a typical Chinese supermarket in Cape Town. So hideous that I needed to have them.

Bright red, synthetic wrist length gloves. A vintage hand-me-down from a friend or family member. Love the scalloped edging around the wrists.

White gotten serving gloves (about 12 pairs). Purchased at Banks – a catering & chef-ing type shop in Woodstock Cape Town. Bought for use in part of an exhibition piece in 2007.

The Collection - PANTIES - no.001 Catalogued for TheSofterSex#1 – Panties.
Size smallish, synthetic, lacy, dusty pink. High cut and dated, these knickers sit like a pair of high waited jeans from the late 80’s/early 90’s. I have no clue where they came from anymore and have also never used them in a shoot. 

The Collection - PANTIES - no.002 Catalogued for TheSofterSex

#2 – Panties.
Size tiny, red with silver shimmery elastic and stretch-mesh frills. My partner who co-owns his own online sex-shop had been sent a few sample freebies with an order of which this tiny pair was one. They were handed over to me for the collection. They are so small I’ve never found a woman that could actually fit into them.

#3 – Panties.
Sheer pink lace Brazilian style bum with a boy-short style cut front in cotton with multi-coloured stripes. Mr. Price, size small or medium, label cut out for shoot. One of a two pack. I bought these knickers for the Miss April Playboy Playmate shoot featuring Kelly McLennan in 2013. The theme was based on the concept “Postcards from Cape Town” and was all about local beaches and Summer vibes, thus the playful girlie knickers (mostly for the PR shots). Included are two of the images shot on Sunset Beach for the editorial.
