Self portrait #6 is dark, moody and well, a portrait of me crying. I intended to have my hands covering my face with a huge black space above my head. I lit it with one snoot diffused with a piece of architects trace. The light lit my irises so beautifully that I ended up choosing an image with eye contact to the camera. The mascara was a spontaneously added just before we shot, and although it is overly dramatic I like the contrast it adds to my eyes and how it contributes to the dark moodiness of the space behind me.
